remember the original show that come on pbs back in the 80's , who else loved that show growing up, i was about 10 and i loved it, i just found out they are on dvd , cant wait to buy them :0)

I watched Degrassi High a bit as a teen and loved it. I didn't know anyone else who watched it and stumbled upon it by accident. I am surprised it wasn't more popluar. It was a lot more relavant and better written than most of the other teen shows.

Loved it and Degrassi High as well. They recently showed a lot of the episodes on Noggin, very late at night. I saw most of it and it brought back memories. It's still a good show.

If you liked the original, do you watch the new Degrassi at all? Its pretty addicting and it has a lot of the older characters on it - Spike and Joey and Snake and Caitlin are regulars.
