I think just the regular x way of lacing them. I have high top converses too, and that is the way i think they look best. The vans i have i lace in the - way, which is the way i think they look best in. Different kinds of shoes have different ways of lacing that fit them best. You just need to figure out which one works best.

You could lace them up like you would a winter boot. Maybe lace them up except for the last 2 rings and let the tongue hang a little and tuck the rest of the laces neatly behind the tongue. Lace them up the way you want.

I'm in favor of the good ol' fashioned criss-cross. However I don't lace mine all the way up because I found the shoe laces are to short and it's more comfy to leave a few holes unlaced.

Hmm... I keep mine laced the original way. But occasionally I like to relace them so the bow and knot are at the tip of the shoe. Thos are the only two I've experimented with so far, but I imagine it's like eating a Reese's cup... there's no right way to do it!

I would put the laces through the holes, but thats just me.

depends..
hopefully you arent skating in them---you WILL get hurt.

other than that any way you feel is fine. lace them up different ways and whichever is most comfy to you, have at it!
