I Googled "0x800ccc0d", which is the error code that Outlook is giving you. Several good websites came up including this one: http://www.tiscali.co.uk/help/email/oe_errors_0x800ccc0e.html

it looks like in the field you were supposed to your mailserver name you just put smtp or for a protocol you entered smpt instead of smtp (simple message transfer protocol)

once you're unable to deliver e mail, attempt utilising port 587 even as sending by ability of Yahoo!'s SMTP server. it really is a thanks to make this change in Outlook: one million. From the "strategies" menu, opt for "debts." 2. opt for your Yahoo! POP account and click the "houses" button. 3. click the "more suitable" tab. 4. next to "Outgoing server (SMTP"), change port 25 to 587. 5. click "stick with." Then click "ok" and "close."
