Okay...
1)Democrats have pushed to give aid to the Pakistani's (a known terrorist safe haven)
2)When we knew where Osama Bin Laden was, under Clinton's Administration, we never went after him
3)They want to pull out of the war now, without capturing Bin Laden, or any other Al Quaida terrorists

I am a Democrat. I don't believe we are any more than republicans are. The New York Times has been attacked for being a liberal publication that discloses information(based on leaks) that the administration does not want made public. There is a fine line between national security and the public's right and need to know. I think the anti Times side is overblown. The public needs to know what is going on in Iraq and elsewhere. How can we make intelligent decisions if we are kept in the dark. Democrats want civil rights protected while we wage a war on terror(A war without end. There will always be terrorists), while conservatives tend to be willing to suspend certain civil rights for the sake perceived security. Pulling out of Iraq is a Hobson's choice. We should never have gone there in the first place, but now that we are there we have committed too much of our prestige to pull out without losing face and respect. The Bush administration has painted us into a corner, not the Democrats. This is to the advantage of the terrorists.

Republicans say democrats support terrorists because of the following logic:
Republicans tend to blindly love their country, no matter what their Republican president does. Now if a Democrat doesn't support the President... they believe that he doesn't support the country. And that's only a small leap to the terrorist idea.
Personally, although I can see this logic, it's false. Though I'm sure there are some terrorist liberals... there are also terrorist conservatives. The USA was founded on the 2 party system but whenever the Democrat party doesn't agree with the Republican party you can hear Republicans shouting about how "Libocraps" should go to Canada or France. That's removal of political enemies as seen in Communist Russia, Nazi Germany, and Communist China (among others). I do disagree with Republicans but we need them in this country to balance democrats out. Its a balance thing.
Do you think the parties, when campaigning, try to turn the democrats republican? NO! They try to get the moderate ones to their side... that's how you win the election!
This recent move to extremity is kinda sad really..
Oh well, there's my rant.
{EDIT}
DD and BGM are right too!
{EDIT 2}
plumouttamymind! It took George Bush months to even begin to get into Afganistan where Osama bin Laden was after 9/11. As for Iraq.. there are more terrorists there now then there were before. Removing Saddam may have saved the people from his wrath but he kept the Iranian president in check... Now Iran only has small countries around him. Frankly, Bush has done little in the face of terrorism. There are more terrorists now than ever before! His extreme ideas forced this.

I don't claim those sites to be unbiased. But its an interesting read none-the-less. I'm liberal and I watch Fox News sometimes. Sometimes they make more sense than any other news show.

Democrats are not supporting terrorist. They just think "to stay the course" without changeing methods to end the war is not in the best interest of the USA or Iraq. And of course they support the troops there and want them to have better equipment to protect them from getting killed.

Our own Republican Senator here in Utah, first thing after Lieberman is defeated, "the Liberals are supporting the terrorists".
I'm telling you, the Republican diehards have no shame. That is how they won in 2004.
"We are the only ones who can protect America".
Yeah, right.
It's as if a Democrat wants to destroy America?
If you find a logical answer, my friend, please let me know!
ps: I thought it was the Republicans that knew how to balance budgets? I guess Clinton was a Republican.
I thought it was Democrats that are weak with the military? I guess Bush is a Democrat, cause he sure is doing a great job at ruining the military! Him, Cheney, Rumsfield.

OK man, I'm guessing you and Democrats don't get along that well, but that doesn't mean you should go around saying that they support terrorism! Nobody in their right mind would support people like Osama Bin Laden.

They aren't. If Bush would worry half as much about our own country as he does others we wouldn't be in over our heads. It probably won't be long before China, Japan, Korea, and Russia join the war. Why not go to war with more countries; it would push equipment and supplies sales through the roof! Not to mention, making all the more republicans that much richer.

Both democrats n republicans r promoting terrorism.
How? like this- Terrorists r like rats, more u try 2 kill them, greater will be the increase in their no. They will run back 2 their holes n emerge back. So no use running behind these rats all over the world. Stay at home and protect ur country. So Republicans by promotin war r also promotin terrorists.

on the opposite side though you have the Republicans who want to act like the big bully of the world but don't know how to fight. at least when Clinton was in office countries knew not to mess with us because we would light your night sky with 1,000's of missiles. yah, all the republicans wanted to talk about how much the missiles cost us. how much has this "WAR ON TERROR" cost us so far.
so no i don't think Democrats support terrorists

Yes, very simple. The terrorists have clearly stated, in no uncertain terms, that they want to destroy Christian civilization. They will NEVER stop trying to accomplish this. All democrats, except Lieberman, don't want to fight. They want to negotiate. The terrorists will NEVER stop fighting. Example: Imagine, everytime you went out, you got beat up. After every beating, you negotiated with the *** kickers, who would tell you, "we won't do it anymore". How many times will you get your *** kicked before you realize the negotiations are not working???You follow?
