it depends on if u already have an avatar. u can do that on ur mail page. just click on that little box. but if u already have that, then go to ur Q&A on here. it has a link that says 'edit my info' it should be under there. just follow the directions.

Go to the lower left hand corner of your user page and hit the option there to add a picture instaed of an avatar.

Click on your smiley face... This will take you to your Yahoo! Answers profile
In your profile click on 'Edit My Info' link near your smiley face
Click on the button that says 'Use my Yahoo! Avatar'
This will make your avatar appear next to your questions and answers.

The way I did it was by downloading messenger from Yahoo, then setting up an avatar through there....there may be another way, but I found this way pretty easy! good luck

You have to get to level 2 before your picture will be posted for all to view. Level 2 = 250 points

Set up an avatar - you do that on the home page for yahoo mail.
