My wife and I did this in Whistler, BC last summer.

It is very cool.

Whistler is about two hours drive north of Vancouver. It's a great place to visit right now because they will be hosting the 2010 Winter Olympics, so they are spending lots of money spiffing the place up so it looks real cool.

The rapids are very cool -- and you'll need to know what you are doing. It isn't just a little float down the river. It is intense -- and incredible fun.

Several companies will take you to the rapids and provide all the equipment needed.

It is fun !!

Have a great time.

CANADA - head to British Columbia and do a few runs of the Fraser or Kicking Horse River!
