Is there anybody else out there who enjoys intelligent, profound, challenging and artistic films, and has an appreciation for great acting, cinematography and direction? Or does everybody else who thinks this way avoid Yahoo Answers like the plague?

I don't know how profound and challenging they are, but I love classic movies, like Casablanca, The African Queen, and The Lion in Winter. I'll avoid horror movies like the plague, but not Yahoo Answers.

I like to be entertained. Plain and simple. Some times I like movies that make me think and other times, I like mindless films.

They avoid it. people on this site could not understand a complex movie if it bit them in the butt. and do not understand a joke when they see one. Rock on dude and your indie sensibility
