I'm not a medical professional, but I think you should see a gynecologist before the age of 20. I think a PAP test should be done regardless of whether you have had sex or not- probably by age 18 (sooner if you are sexually active)
Having sex isn't the only reason to see a doctor who specializes in women's health and your reproductive system.

You can go before that you don't have to be a virgin. You can go and get protection, yearly checks, I heard you should start when your 21 if you are a virgin and every year after. I think Cosmo this months said that. I started having yearly's when I was 14 because I have ovarian cysts that need monitoring. It's always best to be safe...

All girls should see a gyn/o starting when they get their period or about 14 years of age. I started my daughters a bit younger because of family history.
At 20 years old you should already be comfortable with your doctor so that when things arise you will know to call him/her.
This workd is strange enough without the wonderful world of womenhood creeping in on you.
Go see a GY/OBN and get a head start on all the things that make you a healthy women/

A gynecological check up is a good idea after your first menstrual cycle, and again after you become sexually active, and then yearly there after.
It is a good idea, because, the prevalence of teenage sex is rising and so is teenage cervical cancer, some say due to the cervix being immature yet subjected to the stressors on it associated with intercourse.
Protect yourself, be proactive about your health and get checked.

its your choice, but they say that you should go when you are 18 or when you become sexually active, whatever comes first. I went once, and I think that was good cause i knew I was ok. When I get married, I'll go more often
