Ok so I used to use just a regular deoderant but then I would get wet patches all the time so lately I've been using anti-persperant but it has no effect and now I will have wet patches in the pit of my shirt within minutes of wearing it. Any ideas on what I could do?

Go to your doctor and tell him/her they can prescribe something. My sister has to use prescribed anti-persperent. The thing is I do not know if it only works for the sweat or does it work as a deodorant as well. You should also ask the doctor about that. I mean I do not think that there is any anti-persperant that will keep you from sweating that is a natural thing. It is sad that society has gotten to a point where it is not accepted to sweat.

Anti-Persperent, works to clog the pores that sweat come out of. The white powdery ones work the best. The clear liquid ones, don;t work as good. I am 230 ad very active and sweat like I have a hose out my nose.

I find that any of the messy white powdery work good. USe a lot of it push down hard

Once you wash your armpit, you wash of the aniperspirant as well. I take my showers at night, but will commonly re-apply anit perspirant in the morning. It is speculated to work 24 hours, however some individuals are different and could require roughly. My brother gave the impression to need deoderant like three occasions a day and i know he used it after he showered. It was once gross, I have no idea how he deals with it. So if you happen to shower within the morning, follow your antiperspirant and should you consider sticky at night, observe extra.

It could be body chemistry between the chemicals and your body.
You could also just sweat a lot and it is more than the anti=persperants can handle.

if you are a teenager it is normal to sweat excessively, you will not have the problem anymore when you get older. And deodorants are designed just to eliminate the odor.
I know people whose palms or feet sweat too much and they use vinegar as it contracts the pores, you could try vinegar.

This is caused by over-active sweat glands (a common problem), when store bought deodorants and antiperspirants no longer work you should see your doctor and he/she will prescribe an antiperspirant that will be much stronger in strength.

I hope this helps.
