Yes I've saved an old woman from an hotel fire , when I use to work there . I was a desk clerk at the time , and a lot of people use to live there . A fire broke out on her floor and ran to that floor she was on and knocked on all of the door's and she was still in her room passing out from smoke inhalation . I still don't know how I didn't succumb to smoke inhalation myself . Wait I do know , God was with me that day .

Yes I have and I almost lost my life in the process. My husband was learning how to swim, he was doing great I decided to do a few laps in the pool thinking my sister and sister in law could handle my hubby. He panicked I was in the shallow end I jumped out ran along the pool to the deep end where he was jumped in to save him. He pushed me under the water to keep himself above the water. I was drowning and didn't know what I could do to save us both. Both sisters were in shock. I grabbed his family jewels REALLY hard and twisted them he let go of me and I in turn grabbed him from behind and threw him up on to the side of the pool. Thank god I am a fast thinker and not a person who panics.

Yes I did several years ago. I had just taken classes in first aid , CPR, Heimlich, and First Responder. A neighbor banged on my bedroom window at 2 am...her father-in-law was in crisis. I went in my nightgown across the street, found him not breathing and bloody foam coming out his mouth. I turned his head and cleared his airway; I got him breathing just before the paramedics arrived. When it was over, I was so shaken I opened the door to leave and walked right into their coat closet!

I've worked as a lifeguard for many years, saving many people from drowning. I've saved so many people, I lost count. I've even saved 2 people from drowning at 1 time.

Yes, my friend was having an asthma attack and I called 911. She couldn't breathe or talk. She ended up in the hospital for five days on life support with a tube down her throat.

no.
I've never had the opportunity.
I had my life saving by emergency medical personnel when I was 18 years old. I saw the EMT that helped me about 6 months ago, and thanked him.
That's one thing that is cool about small towns! You get to run into people like that!
