This weekend I plan to just stay at home and relax. I want to rent a few good movies, but don't really know of any. I am really into romantic comedies, dramas, and even a good scary movie from time to time. Or anything starring Denzel Washington, Nia Long,
Sanaa Lathan, Jamie Foxx, or Martin. I also love movies that are inspirational and contain singing... like Fighting Temptations and The Five Heartbeats. Any suggestions?

Yes! I recommend The Inside Man with Denzel Washington, definitely Last Holiday with Queen Latifah, Brokeback Mountain despite all the hype, the 2000 release version of The Exorcist is great, Must Love Dogs with John Cusack, Crimson Tide is superb with Denzel Washington and Gene Hackman.
If you do decide to hit the theatres though, I recently saw Talladega Nights: The Ballad Of Ricky Bobby, and I thought it was hilarious; other than that, I caught The Lake House, which was also quite good, if also sad. As for scary films, I plan to see Snakes On A Plane this weekend, or even The Descent. Enjoy!

I like romantic ones too and wish there were more out......
But I watched a good film last night with Winona Ryder and Angelina Jolie called GIRL, INTERRUPTED. Was very good.
Other films try:- The notebook, Leon, Hurricane(with Denziel Washington), The Terminal, Good Will Hunting and The Godfather.....
A nice range for you though.

Failure to Launch was pretty good too.
Last Holiday was pretty funny also.
Scary movies would have to be Saw, the Ring, or Texas Chanisaw Massacre.

Yeah, "V for Vendetta" ROCKS!!! i particularly loved "abode on the Lake" or something like that (Keanu Reeves & Sandra Bullock), "Over the Hedge" and "Pirates of the.... blah, blah 2" (it truly is solid, yet i imagine it truly is way TOO lengthy). If U have time, attempt 2 lease those 3 french video clips: "l. a. Grande Séduction" (Montréal), "Amélie" and "Le Papillon" (both from France). And those 2 mexican: "Amores Perros" and "Como agua para chocolate" (Like water for Chocolate). relish!
