As he admitted the crime... do you think he deserves it? Why was he in Thailand, as we know it's a paradise for pre-teen and child prostitution? Doesn't he look like a killer? I mean... I remember the movie "Seven", and he just looks like Kevin Spacey staring at everybody like if everything was under control. I think he should die, he is not mentally disturbed, he is a teacher, and he must die for what he did.

Obviously, a lot of detective work will still have to be done before anyone dies. He may have admitted to it, but I'm sure that with all the loose ends that the case left, some tying together will have to be done first. I'm still curious about the mother... there were so many allegations against her when the story first aired... there are still a lot of questions for her now.

And about him dying... If he is shipped to the U.S., with the way our justice system works, he'll probably get 3 hot meals a day, free cable and die in prision before he's actually killed.

In response to assertions from Karr's wife that he was with her that particular Christmas: Does everyone remember EXACTLY who was with them on Christmas 10 years ago? I have a pretty good memory but I've given this some thought and although I'm sure of where I was 10 years ago on Christmas, I really couldn't say for sure who else was there that day. I could make an assumption that all the usual family members were present but I couldn't swear to anyone of them actually being there. I couldn't distinguish for sure whether it was 9 or 11 Christmases ago. Only real convincing proof is dated Christmas pictures showing all people present that particular day.

i have were given not seen any of the extremely recommendations, and that i do not imagine of any persons on good right here might want to have had lots get good of get admission to to to it, both. So, i do not imagine of any persons can understand the finished tale till he's unquestionably convicted, or perchance then, there is probable an effective type of stuff that the traditional public heavily isn't prompt. That aside, even if, i'd not be taken aback both way. The case maintains to be particularly lots up interior the air, or maybe as it grew to develop into into presented that they had a suspect, i grew to develop into into genuinely taken aback that they theory that they had sufficient recommendations against someone to arrest them. i grew to develop into into less than the various result that lots of what that they had were rendered unusable with the aid of very reality of an infection of the crime scene. i bypass off of Karr's Wikipedia internet web site, good right here, which will or might want to not be unclear, yet I deliver mutually that the recommendations they have against him is fairly circumstantial, which, mutually as not precisely suspect, isn't precisely damning, both. So, i in my view don't have any theory. what's for particular, even if, is that he's an entire weirdo, and that i in my view do not imagine of he might want to need to be on the line, inspite of no count number if or not he killed JonBenet. It feels like he's finished lots of harm elsewhere.

Anyone who would do that is mentally disturbed, are you kidding?

Thailand still has child prostitution, but you have to look really hard to find it. There has been a huge crackdown on that in the last 5 years, and thankfully so.

No death penalty. Want to know why?

We have Liberal Judges who sentence Child Rapists to months in Prison. If that is such a light sentence, imagine how it will be for murdering a child? I can't picture more than a year, let alone the death penalty.

I don't know what the law is in Colorado. But, if the have the death penaly he should get it. If they don't, they should change the law just for him, but othewise he will get life in prision if there is no death penalty. Personally, I would love to be locked up in a room with him for just five minutes. What I would do to him I would not put into words on this board.

I must be living under a rock because I didn't even hear about this.
But, if he admitted to it and he is prosecuted, he will probably plead guilty meaning the death penalty would be off the table.

he is creepy, he appears to be shy and almost child like... his ex wife says he was in alabama with her that christmas... something is not right, he was facing charges in thailand too, he needs to be put away for a long time... if he is found guilty, he very well could get the death penalty, he raped her, ... man she was six years old..... what a complete waste.

He needs to be convicted in a court of law before he can be eligible to be put to death. I'm not even sure Colorado has the death penalty anymore. Yes, I know he confessed to the crime, but a good attorney can get him life rather than the death penalty. In Colorado, you can plead "Not guilty by reason of insanity/mental disease or defect." In Arizona, you don't have that option. You can plead "*Guilty* by reason of mental disease or defect/insanity" but there is no 'I'm not guilty because I'm crazy' clause. Just another reason I love my state...!
