My agp video card died, and I want to make sure there is nothing wrong with the agp slot BEFORE I BUY another agp card. Is there a way to check the status of my agp slot on Windows xp? Thanks.

Sorry, there is no way to do it....

But are you sure the video card died ? Did you try it in another computer ? How are you sure it's not the motherboard that died ?
Is there any integrated video on it ? In that case, are you sure you didn't mess with the BIOS parameter ?

Sorry...but I always tried everything before going to buy a spare part.

Good luck

No way. You can only swap between two PCs to try. Did you change any video settings on the bios boot up setting page ? If so, change to default factory setting and try your card again.
