I dont. And i never will. If they wanna speed by and get a ticket, then they can get over and pass me. i just slow down when someone tailgates me and i flip them off. Then when they get over to try and pass me, i speed up and try not to let them by. Sometimes it works and they get back behind me and i just slow down again, sometimes it doesnt work. But its fun.

I'd like to say that if someone were tailgating me, I'd not react, hold my speed, and give them a chance to pass. However, I'm prone to reacting to jerks, so here's what I do (this only works during daylight). Turn on your headlights. This makes it appear that you've hit your brakes, they back off (hopefully), you maintain your speed, and you've now got a little distance between the two of you. If it's night time, I'll rest my foot lightly on the brake pedal to get the lights to come on, but not enough to actually get the brakes to come in contact with the disc/rotors. You get the same result as if you'd turned on your headlights during the day. I won't not allow them to pass, but I don't pull over for them to pass, unless there's a passing zone coming up ahead.

What really irritates me are the morons who'll fly up to your rear end, try to force you out of the way, then, when they get by you, slow down to your speed just so they can be first.

I agree with you that it's important to follow the law and speeding is dangerous even if the people who do it don't think so. Most don't realize the consequences of what happens if they get into an accident and kill themselves, kill others or worse yet end up injuring themselves or others permanently.

I have to believe that cops will eventually catch them. I wish more cops would pull those that speed excessively over more frequently. I hate it when people try to pass me and I'm going the speed limit and they are passing me on a road with double solid lines.

As long as I'm going the speed limit I don't pull over. If for some reason I'm hauling stuff and I have to travel below the speed limit and I see a few cars trailing behind me and I have a turn off, I do give those behind me the courtesy of passing.

I don't recommend challenging these people. It may seem like fun until one day one of them pulls out a hand gun. The people that tailgate and speed typically have not sense of what they are doing. So what may seem like fun to you really isn't worth challenging these crazy people.

If I'm in the fast lane (left), and I'm not going fast enough for someone else I do. Its just rude to drive slower than others in that lane, get over and let the speeders go. They are the reasons for the pile ups, I move over and let them go so they can go kill someone else. Now if I'm in the right (slower lanes) no way! screw them they can get over into the faster lanes and pass me.

Be careful with that little trick, one of these days you could find yourself at fault for an accident because some one else was being an a$$hole. Oh wait or are you being the a$$hole? hmmm.

Word of advise...a friend of mine was driving and some guy was impatient bumped him and took off. Sent his car spinning, he was ejected as the car wrapped around a telephone pole, crushing his daughter's car seat, had she been in it she would have been dead. He spent 3 weeks in the hospital and they never caught the guy.
