Ugh, I hate Zango. I had it on my computer once.
If the Zango toolbar is installed you can uninstall it by going to Start>Control Panel>Add or Remove Programs>and remove it from there.
If not Ad-Aware is a free adware remover that works quite well for things like these. I use it and I have nearly no pop-ups. It is free to download and easy and quick to run. It also lets you know when to update it and will update quickly and easily.
It is by far (in my experience) the best program for this type of thing and believe me, I've tried a ton. After I found this I never need another.
Here is a link to download:

get a spyware program and run it. Delete everything it finds that says ZANGO. Do not go back and reload Zango or they will be back again.

Check for spyware. Run both Ad-aware (http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/) and Skybot (http://www.safer-networking.org/) to remove any spyware. Run both as one may caught something the other missing. Then go to microsoft.com and download Defender to protect against future infections.

Download a popup blocker. Both yahoo and google have free toolbars, with built in popup blockers, that stop them.
