I drink about 2 (500ml) bottles of water a day...and I do drink milk, soup...and eat a little fruit..

but I don't understand...why my skin is so dried...
it looks sooooooo old and bad :(

I also put lotion or baby oil on ...so it seems no use...
(it seems worse the day after I put the baby oil ...
whenver I don't use baby oil...my skin will look worse...very very dried)

What should I do?
To make my skin look better?

is there something wrong with me?
(Oh, I am only 22)... ;(

Thank you

Sounds like mild keratosis--don't be alarmed. Your skin is missing something that helps it retain moisture. Does this sound familiar?: You get out of the shower, moisturize like crazy, a\then after about 30 minutes your face feels tight and dry?

My derm doc recommended Amlactin, which is available OTC, though you have to ask for it at the pharmacy counter. It has changed my life, and only runs about $11 for a decent sized tube.

Stop the baby oil, honey. Use an extra-moisturizing lotion or "butter" on your skin right after your shower/bath to seal in the moisture. Up your water intake and get alot of rest. You can also scrub with a loofa sponge to get off the dead skin cells and that will make you look alot more clear. Olive oil by mouth, (a teaspone a day on a salad) will also help your skin. If these don't work, please see a doctor.

Strictly speaking shaving shouldn't cause dry skin. You can get razor burn from shaving dry, which you really shouldn't do. Always make sure that the skin is lubricated before shaving with a regular razor and use a soothing lotion afterwards. Also make sure the razor is new and sharp and not blunt as this will drag the skin and can cause infections. If you shave with a battery or electric shaver make sure the heads are not worn and similarly moisturise after.
