Well Your C drive is full, Hold Windows key, (between the ctrl and the Alt) while holding Windows key tap the letter E. Right click the C drive. and select properties. Is it full? If so, Go to add remove programs in the control panel. Remove unwanted programs. Reboot. If that still don't clear up enough space. Delete old files. (movies take up the most space. (save a few to CD, as a FILE. That will free up lots of space).
If your still strapped for space, consider buying a hard drive. 30 gigs is enough, but you may be in the same boat in a year...
A usb Flash drive, (more space, 1 gig will cost about 30-40 bucks). And thats about two movies. Depending...
So its better to actually get a drive that has 30-90 gigs.. The price you pay will compare with the amount of space you want to get.

If you computer is networked the f drive could be network storage so yes you could.
so the real question is , is your f drive and actual hard disk drive. I don't mean a floppy drive , I don't mean a CD rom Drive or any other storage device.
if you right click the properties of your F: Drive and it appears to be a disk drive then probably yes.
try copying some large files to it and see what happens...
