whats the more popular choice? why?

if i was going to recommend to you a system, i would say xbox. it is cheaper for one, has better graphics, dont need to buy a memory card. and it can do stuff playstation cant. a playstation can play cds, but a xbox can copy them to its memory so you dont need the cd, and can use that music on alot of games. a playstation can play dvds, but so can an xbox if you get that plugin for like $20 or something. playstation has outlived itself, get an xbox.

Xbox has better graphics and sound. Playstation was the popular choice according to Wikipedia.

OK, I did this research last year. The concensus is that Xbox is more adult-oriented and Playstation is more kid-oriented, at least as far as game selection is concerned. Depends on the target audience. Everything else is just religious hoo-hah, technically the hardware is similiar enough that there's not enough difference to worry about.

(1) xbox has in build mummery that you don't need memory card, while;e you have buy memory card for PlayStation, but I believe PS3 is coming up with memory card,
(2) PlayStation is widely accepted by people better then xbox, as a result of the following.
A. lace problem
B. availability of parts
C. availability different choose games CD
D. and may more. I refer PlayStation then xbox

x box was also made by microsoft (in the US).. while playstation was made by Sony (by Japan).. lol.. thats another difference..

personally.. i think playstation is better and it has some games that x box doesnt have like a lot of the GOOD sports games like madden or street... but first person shooter wise... x box takes the cake..with halo and stuff... its all a matter of the type of genre of games... i would reccomend looking at the games.. and whichver has more games that you like... then get that console

Playstation.
Xbox sucks and it have problems with overheating. If you like first person shooters, then by all means, play Xbox.

Its sad to say, but xbox has much more better graphics, but the remote is quite complecated. The Playstation is easier to use, but doesn't have the best graphics.

X-box rules. Plus, you can get it modded so you don't have to pay for games.
I've never had a playstation.
