so far it sounds interesting to me. can't rate a 10 yet, must be able to read the whole story, but keep with it, it sounds like a winner to me already. I would rate it at what I know at this time possibley an 8. My best luck to you. Hey, if it's gets published, I would like a signed copy please.

I'd give it a 6 or 7. It depends on who the characters are because that may increase the number. Maybe they'll stumble into a militia training camp or a native tribe's home. Maybe they'll find something amazing. Those can increase the amount of interest. Good luck with your story. Also don't mind what people here say. Write it if you want to.

Honestly, you can't really rate the idea. It's been done in movies, but I'm sure if you're talented enough, you can make it a good story.
They'd have to be hunting in a pretty remote place, and most good hunters that hunt in bear country know to take precautions against bears.

Sounds okay - especially Danger Zone - if you set it in a National Park that "guarantees" Bear Free Zone. Mr. Johnson takes his son and another kid who's a jerk, but he takes him so his son has company. This kid gets eaten right off (OHH NOOOOOOOOOOOO) because he runs away to save only himself, and Mr. Johnson, and his son Johnny, Jr., get separated. Go with how they manage to survive, find each other and learn how much they really love each other.

You could make it the next best seller or the worst novel of the century
If that story line interests you...go for it...you won't get anywhere in a story line that you don't like or you're not semi passionate about

Wasn't something along that plot already made? It could be great or it could be shitty. Depends on the actors, directing, and production. You perfect those, then any story can appear entertaining enough. I'll give it a 6 so far.

about a five...it is a good start...are you going to make it a thriller...mystery....fantasy...i like fantasy myself....like they could all go in separate directions like you said....and they start hearing different noises....like huge crickets....and grayish looking shadows....silly-scary giggles....and the smells...some lavender scents to scummy bad toxic water smells! good luck
