ask your tutors to test you for dyscalculia. it is the mathematical version of dyslexia, if you have it then allowances would be made for you during your studies.

I cant tell you a specific way to get over your fear of math. Its an odd thing in life that the subject or area we consider ourselves to be least skilled at is quite often the area that we have the most natural ability in. Case and point; I was a C student in Math in High School, went to college and was a business major...still couldnt get away from math..improved to a B student by Junior year , and by Senior year I was an A student in advanced economic and statistical math. I now work for General Electric Company as a Financial Analyst . Basically don't shy away from a class or career path beacuse you think you are bad at a subject. Hope this helps.

Apparently you're not too big a fan of your English class either.

Seriously though, you're going to have to bite the bullet on this one, sit down, and do your freaking math homework. You're just like The Little Engine That Could. The Little Engine That Could Find The Rate Of Change Of Objecty X When T=4, that is.

The only way to get over math phobia is to practice. Being tested for dyscalculia(sp?) might not be a bad idea, but you will still need to practice math to deal with that.

Also, practice your basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) That is probably where most of your errors are.

Make good use of your professor's office hours. That's what I did and if you still don't understand it, he/she might take pity on you and pass you anyway.
