I'm not lashing out, but you have to understand how people could get offended. Some women want attention, but you can find them in every race, almost every part of the world. SOme women "flaunt what they got" because they are insecure on the inside, but once again, that happens everywhere. Also it can be the other way around, where very confident people decide to be the star of the show. The point is, you can't sterotype people by a sample of a population and multiply it and relate it to a whole. It may work with studies of flora and fauna, but people have branched out over time to find their own identity, and that should be accepted by the outside world. No matter where you're from, what you wear, or how you look, people should at least TRY to dig a little deeper under the surface. There are plenty of Black women out there bright enough to get into an Ivy League school or pretty enough to be models. You can't just catagorize people by their outside appearance, or relate it make to their roots. My point, once again, is that there will be women in every race that become prostitutes, Rocket scientists, or dedicated housewives. But what makes women who they are is that they are willing to be different from one another, and that there is such a wide variety out there.

It's NOT just "a lot of black women". There is a difference between dressing sexy and dressing slutty and some women just don't see the line. I'm white and see white girls and women all the time thinking that showing more skin or wearing clothes that are way too small is the way to attract attention. Too bad what they end up with isn't always what they set out to get.

A lot of women in general dress like hoochies because that's the only way they know how to get attention from a man. Not using their mind or anything else.
People will say a lot of black women dress like hoochies because they are mostly seen on tv and in music videos like that. Never in a positive way. There are also a lot black women who dress like professionals.
And like someone else said, it's more of the younger generations of women and teen girls who dress like that because they see the girls in the videos or the beyonces dress like that.
All in all, women from all races just dress like hoochies to get attention because they have nothing else going for them.

I think it depends on where you are, because I don't know a lot of black women that dress like hoochies. I do think that younger people in general tend to dress in a less than distinguished fashion, but most people grow out of it.

first of all there is a difference btwn dressing Sexy and looking like a Hoochie...and it's not limited to RACE...
everyone is not the same... Say a lot is just like saying MOST so u worded this wrong.
And what does it really matter what a person has on? THEY bought it... if u have a issue with it go up to someone and offer to buy them something less HOOCHIE as u would say........

im not sure of your ethic group or gender. but, may i first say that black women have different body types therefore clothing is goin to look different on them. And your question absolutely disgust me that someone would say something like that. and personally dont think that a lot of black women dress like ''hoochies''. i think a lot of women in general dress like ''hoochies''.

This sounds so bad the way you worded. I imagine people aren't going to take this well. I'm a little offended myself.
Anyway, Black women have been seen as sexual objects since they were slaves. It doesn't seem like that should still be effecting us, huh, but when you are told your only value is through being seen as a sexual object it's natural to use that. It's something that's been passed down from generation to generation.
