Having worked as a National Makeup Artist for many high end companies and getting lots of freebies - I can say that St. Ives Apricot Scrub is STILL my favorite! The invigorating one I find to be the same as the previous one they had out. The only one that I find different (gentler) is the mild one for sensitive skin. I would say try it, I know I still love it.

I tried the Apricot Scrub years ago and I broke out from it.

First I would look at your diet. What are you eating? Are you eating anything new? I would start taking Vitamin E pills. This is supposed to be the best. My wedding is in 2 months and I just started taking it the other day. I use anti-bacterial soap on my face and that seems to help a lot. I get small little pimples every once in a while, I used to get a lot of cysts, but once I wasn't so stressed, they went away. That can be a big factor as well.

Just make sure you are eating healthy, drinking lots of water and take the Vit E. And even though this sounds weird, make sure you use a moisturizer on your face. That actually helped my breakouts.

Yes, I've tried it. I used it on a day when I didn't have any zits on my face, and by the next morning my face was broken out in three places. I asked my dermatologist and he said that (1) people with sensitive skin should not use it because it tears up sensitive skin, and (2) when you use something that is an intense exfoliating product, it basically clears off the top layer of skin and lets out all the yucky stuff that's underneath.

After my initial breakout, my skin really cleared up and the oily patches in my skin were almost nonexistent. Also, my skin was red for about fifteen minutes after using it, but I like it.

So I would say, yeah, it's a good product, but be prepared to break out after you use it.

Yes I did use it and it was really good. But I have normal skin and I used it for getting rid of blackheads. If you have acne it might leave some spots on your face, because it has something granular in it.And yes, Shahnaz Hussein (renowned beautician) suggested that if you have acnes or pimples do not use scrub. I prefer the home remedies for acne (my sister's got acne problem). There are websites for it, type home remedies for acne in Google
Zinc supplements worked wonders for Sis. She takes 50 milligrams a day, twice daily and it helps keep her skin clearer than any prescription. You can find Zinc at a grocery store or drug store in the aisle with vitamin and mineral supplements. At Wal-Mart it’s only $2.13 a bottle.

Its quite nice and refreshing! Sometimes it dries out my face. Don't know what type of skin you have, but get the moisturizer just in case:)

I'm Asian too. I have that at home. It works for me but you need to use Benzine proxide on at night as well. i think its hard to find a good enough face wash too. but it works for me.
