Im hearing that X at Six Flags Magic Mountain is closing this coming January. Has anyone else heard this? And i know the whole park may be closing, but the one i really wanna ride is X. I was gonna go to ride it next summer, but if its closing in January, i may go to ride it around Christmas time.

We went to Magic Mountain earlier this year with the sole intent to ride "X". I've been wanting to ride it since it opened. When we got there, it was closed down for maintenance. In fact, 6 of their roller coasters were down that day. It was rediculous.

Magic Mountain is closing, although they haven't determined a date yet. I heard that it's far too costly to maintain those rides than it is worth. The park has been losing money.

Now they are going to sell it so they can built new homes and condos there.

It's rediculous.

I've been going to Six Flags: Magic Mountain once every summer for the past 3 years. I just recently went less than a month ago. The line for X seemed a lot longer than the past 2 years. They only have one train that is able to run. (The other 2 are thrown are the ground, not in their docks.) The two other trains are... torn apart. They are not connected or anything for that matter.

If you are thinking about going to Six Flags, go soon because what you heard sounds pretty likely to happen, since the park is probably closing.

Wow! I hope the park doesn't close.
When I went on X two years ago, I had to wait in line for about 1 hour (just for a 3-5 minute ride).
Hope you get a chance to ride it!
