well, their apparent lack of emotion during the ordeal didn't help their case...

Could you imagine being Mrs. Ramsey. She couldn't even grieve for her daughter, and people probably wanted to stone her just for going to the local Wally World. More than an apology is definitely needed here.

NOT YET. The Fox cable news ghouls are still busy messing with them now that the story has been reopened. Gretta is probably delighted that she can get another six months out of the Ramsey story (since the Natalee mystery is not interesting to her audience anymore).

No. It wouldn't be sincere anyways. I think Mr. Ramsey just needs to get up there and give a big FUH-Q to the media and the Boulder police.

No there shouldn't. There is always going to be mistakes made in the process of finding criminals. We shouldn't be so fast to take this guys confession at face value. Apparently it was said on the TV this morning that he had previously confessed to the murder of a twelve year old girl that proved false. Saying that I realy do hope this is the guy and I hope they let Jene Benet's father and brother have a " word" with him in private for a couple of minutes if he is found guilty.

NO! I think the Ramsey family are the ones who did it! Do some checking on the case, you will see how fishy everything is.

Aboslutely. The media's penchant for sensationalism has caused harm to the Ramseys.

The media definitely got that one wrong. We has a similar local case where everyone thought the doctor husband killed his doctor wife, but it ended up being some punk kids.
That really made me think about how the media paints a picture and how I just wasn't going to lap it up anymore.

No. Just because this guy is confessing to parts of a crime doesn't mean the Ramsey's are innocent. They did give his name as a suspect early on. What if he was a friend and they knew he had a history of child porn? And they still let him in their house and he then killed their daughter?
His arrest doesn't automatically prove their innocence.

I think there should be a lawsuit considering everything they have gone through. Not the media, but the local law enforcement.

National? No. Police in Bolder, CO? Yes. They seriously messed up that investigation. I'm surprised that they were able to find he real killer seeing that they had done such a crappy initial investigation.
