First you bring the 10 to the other side of the equation. That means you will subtract 10 from 22. This leaves you with 2/3x = 12. Then you multiply everything by 3. This leaves you with 2x=36. Then you divide everything by 2. Now you have x=18.

When you do algebra, do the same thing to each side of the equation to help you get an answer. For example, if you subract 10 from each side of the equation
2/3x + 10 = 22, it's still the same equation.

2/3x + 10 - 10 = 22 -10
so that leaves us with
2/3x = 22 - 10
go ahead and subtract 10 from 22, so you have
2/3x = 12
now multiply both sides of the equation by 3
2/3x * 3 = 12 *3
which gives us
2/3 x* 3 = 36
when you multiply 2/3 by three, you end up with 2, so the equation now reads
2x = 36
divide each side by 2
x = 18

to check your work, plug your answer in for x

(2/3 * 18) + 10 = 22
two thirds of eighteen is 12, so
12 + 10 = 22

When doing algebra, you just manipulate each side of the equation until all you have left on one side is x.
Algebra gets a lot easier if you practice, so keep going!

2/3x+10=22

2/3x = 22 - 10 = 12

2= 12 * 3x = 36x

x = 2/36 = 1/18

2/3x+10=22

well first u need to put the x on one side, and the #'s on the other side:

2/3x = 22-10

now multiply both sides by 3/2 to "get rid" of the fraction:

3/2 * 2/3 x = 12 * 3/2

simplify:

1 x = 18

2/3x+10= 22 subtract 10 from both sides
-10 -10
2/3x= 12 multipy by 3
x3 x3

2x= 36 divide both by 2
/2 /2
x= 18

if i did my math right.. gosh i cant believe im helping you. You need to learn it and do it yourself but... subtract ten...
2/3x+10=22
- 10 -10
____________
2/3x=12
(3/2)* 2/3 (so they cancel eachother out) =12/1 and 3/2 then mulitply straight across
12*3 =36 and 1*2=2 then reduce your 36/2 to 18
i think i may have switched a number around its been a long time since i've done a simple algebraic equation..

Answer is 18

2/3x +10 = 22
-10= -10
--------------------
2/3x = 12

multiply by the reciprocle which is 3/2x

x= 12 times 3/2x = 36/2 = 18

x=18. Subtract 10 from both sides leading to 2/3x = 12. Multiply both sides by 3/2 leading to x=18.

well first u have to substract the 10 then it's gonna be 2/3x= 12.
then you will have to divide 2/3 by 12 you should get 1/8
because when you divide fractions it always tunrs the opposite you know like now instead of dividing u will get a multiplication problem which looks like 3/2 times 1/12 and then u reduce and everything
