If your ill, your ill. No ones willingly makes themself ill do they?? Just take the time off, rest, have plenty of fluids. If medication is percribed then take it, if not then only take it if it is essential. If precribed you should always finish the course of will will become immune to this medication in the future (scary).
Good luck!!!

My vote is not to go in, if you are ill then there is nothing much you can do about it - yes days off are frowned upon, particularly if it is at the weekend as they instantly assume you are just taking the day off rather than genuinely ill. If you have been to the doctors then make sure to tell them that so they know you are in fact ill and have sought medical attention – if you can even see about getting a doctors note.

If you have had a lot of days off work it could cause problems, but again with a doctors note this will help, I myself have a lot of days off work due to a very serious health problem – I worry about what work will think, however if you have a doctors note it really shouldn't be a problem, or if you don't have too much time off, it's only if you were to take every weekend off or if you were off all the time that it would be a real concern.

Stay at home, get yourself better and yes take the medicine, it's not nice for ti to make you feel worse but the quicker you get better than the better it is all round.

Really, I hope you get better :o)

If you really want to get well fast, you need to give your boss the doctor's note and take off the weekend to truly stay in bed and rest and eat soups and drink plenty of fluids. Definitely take your medication. You'll be home so if you feel bad just go back to sleep. If you try to push yourself and go to work and stop taking the medication you'll probably stay feeling miserably sick for weeks instead of days. Good luck!

Get a note from the doctor and chill for a couple days. Also, push chicken noodle soup, homemade if you can get it. Chickens have a really strong immunity against many viruses, and we get that immunity from them when we eat their fat. So, you know the blobs of yellow stuff that floats on the top, yum, yum, yum!! Hey, it's worth to get well fast.

just take care of yourself and go ask to rest.
If they see your condition and still say no, then in the back of your head you would be start searching for a new job...

As for the medicine, don't forget to take your meds...

I hope you will be back in shape soon
