Is this person e-mail address real or is he a fake?

Maybe its fake or maybe he gave you the wrong abbreviation like yahoo.com instead of yahoo.co.in or yahoo.ca

Maybe there is a small mistake in the address you have written down, it is so easy to write a wrong _ or @ down for example.

There is no real way of knowing tho whether or not he has diliberatley given you a wrong address
