He played only one ball though. He was forced to replace the bat because the bat damaged the ball. It could be any form of cricket - ODI, test or Twenty20.

It was Denis Lily against Pakistan, he came to bat with an Aluminium bat, and Pakistani players protested to umpire and Lilly was forced to leave that bat.
