i have like this lump type thing by my pubic hair area and it kinda feels like a pimple, but its like one of those "inside" pimples that hurt like hell and you can't really bust! i remember back like 5 years ago when i got my first one buy my gyno said it was normal so i let it go. throughout the past couple of years i probably had like 2 or so, but in these past 2 months i think i've had like 3 or 4. i really don't know how to describe them. i can't really see it unless i look closely but i know its there becuz i can feel it. it hurts a lil and it usually goes away after a few days but i don't know what the hell it is. i called my gyno but my appointment isn't for another 2 weeks and i'm sure it won't be there by then. does anybody know what those lumps could possibly be. should i be worried?

First of all....do you shave..? Are the little lumps in the area you shave.? I don;t know if you do or not, but they sound like ingrown hairs..they hurt like hell and there under the skin. I shave and sometimes in the area I shave I get those bumps, not very often, my obgyn said there ingrown hairs from shaving.

That's not a pipmplel. That sounds like a boil. Usually the same color as your skin, very hard and is "underneath" the skin? If it's down in "your area", it probally started out as a hair bump(hair growing back underneath the skin) and got infected. Depending on how big it is, boils can be very painful and your doctor may have to pop it.

that's definitely an ingrown hair. use tweezers and some creativity to pop it, clean it and apply something like neosporin. make sure you track down the hair that caused it. i'm very prone to these, so once in a while i go through with tweezers and try to find them before they start. i have heard that exfoliating helps keep them from starting but you'd have to be really careful not to get whatever you were using near your vag :p

I don't think you should worry. They are probably just ingrown hairs. Have you been shaving? Or they might be little cysts - they are usually harmless. Have you been experiencing any irritation around your private area? Try wearing only cotton underwear or stop wearing thongs. This may help.
