No. Sitcom is short for "situational comedy." Prison Break does not fit that discription. It is a drama.

nope, it's a drama series....god, love that show...
a story about a genius engineer that designed a jail which coincidentally his brother gets locked up into before he gets executed.
his brother is sentenced(FRAMED) for the murder of the president's brother....
god he's hot...
