To the original question: I'd say Americans are angry because:
We have a retarded, war-mongering president
Our homeland was attacked by islamic radicals
Our failure of a president has neglected to catch the SOB
And our government DOES NOT sponsor the creation and use of alternative fuels, so we are forced to pay $3.199/gallon for gas (that's what it is here, hopefully some are paying less, and I know California is probably paying much more).
Other than those reasons, we don't have much to be mad about. Atleast Canada isn't firing rockets into Washington state.
