Perhaps your have a weak heart or lungs and it has a lot of trouble getting blood or oxygen to the rest of your body. When you are working out, you put your body through loads of stress that it normally doesn't deal with... and if your heart or lungs aren't strong, you will tire quickly. I would get seen by a doctor if I were you.

I hate to tell you but it does sound like you may have some type of heart problem. You need to see your doc.He can do a stress test, sonogram,or cardiac cath to diagnose and treat. If heart disease is treated you can live a long and fruitful life.My 43 yr old male friend complained of pain between his shoulder blades in his back and felt really terrible. He wouldn't go to the doc because he said he couldn't afford it.He was driving down the road and collapsed in the car with his son and died of a massive heart attack.Get to that Doc pronto.Let us know how it turns out.

Very likely you are having a case of low blood sugar, due to exercise. Eat a small, mainly protein snack, about 1 hour before starting your workout. Have another one soon after you are done. Check the diet books in the library link of www.hufa.org for the proportions of protein to carb (low glycemic - preferred) to fat for the snacks.
You may want to get yourself checked out for hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), especially if you find on checking the symptoms link on that same website, that you are experiencing more than one symptom that might be due to low blood sugar.

you need to eat something before you work out. my coworker is a trainer and she always has a yogurt and some granola before she works out and then as soon as she comes back. maybe a powerbar would be good. and drink lots of water.
