The way you ask the question makes me believe you don't know what you are doing. Why would you want to do that?

if u have Windows XP bootable CD try to boot the computer with it and there u can see the option to format C drive

Without knowing what operating system you are using, it's impossible to answer the question. XP does not have DOS, the other flavors of windows are built on DOS.

You need a program called Format.exe it's probably in the windows system32 folder.
