It was fake, look at the photos, the evidence is all there. Almost everyone involved in the fake landing was murdered by our government

The effectiveness of keeping a conspiracy intact is completely dependent on the number of people involved; the more people there are, the less likely the conspiracy will hold over time. There were literally tens of thousands of people involved in the Apollo program, and it has been over thirty years since the last lunar landing; faking the landings and keeping the people silent would have been more difficult than actually performing them.

On three of the Apollo missions, laser reflection dishes were set up which scientists use to this day to accurately calculate the distance between the Earth and the Moon. This equipment could only have been set up manually; no robotic missions could have performed these tasks.

The Clementine lunar satellite was able to take a picture of the Apollo 15 landing site, but the resolution was too low (100 meters) to be considered overwhelming evidence. The Indian space program plans to send a remote sensing spacecraft in 2007, called Chandrayaan I, which has a five meter resolution. Assuming the craft is successful, its images should provide definitive evidence that the moon landings were real.

No matter what evidence one provides, however, someone will always come up with an excuse to negate it. "The scientists are in on the conspiracy with the laser reflector experiment", or "The images from the satellite are fake", or "They set up the Apollo landing sites afterwards using robots". One has to set their own limits on when evidence becomes definitive, and then stand by that limit.

They really did land on the moon, and others have been there as well. There is a whole bunch of "urban legend" type crap that says that they didn't go. One of the reasons given is that you couldn't see the stars in the video footage. Well, in order to see the stars, you need an atmostphere to bend the light. The moon does not have an atmosphere, and so there is no way that you would be able to see the stars if you were on the moon. Also, people talk about the men's shadows pointing in the wrong direction and stuff. At this point, people are just grasping at straws for a conspiracy theory.

I found the location for the moon studio. Its located at the old martian landing site outside Roswell, New Mexico. In an ancient cavernous lava flow, the gov't made a huge effort to make this place real.

Set up with sand from the White Sands Monument adjacent to highway 54. The place is naturally dark. Large track lighting hangs from the stalagtites. Massive lengths of cable lay strewn on the floor of the location.

I happened to be roaming the fields for martian evidence when I fell into a small depression in the earth. The ground gave way and I fell about 10 feet into an old passageway. From their the story undolds. I will share the rest later on my next martian entry.

The NASA mission that landed on the moon, first, was Apollo 11. The whole mission cost about 1.36 billion dollars. The most expensive movie productions, today, cost 2-3 hundred million; a far cry from 1.36 billion. So, if it was a fake, NASA could have saved a billion dollars and come up with better video quality and better special effects. Think about it! It was real.

Sigh - here goes the 80th time this gets asked this week -
There are two possibilities here:

a) The moon landings (note - more than one) were real, and televised by all networks, and reported in thousands of newspapers all over the world; or

b) The moon landings were faked, and hundreds if not thousands of people have been completely silenced over the last 30+ years.

People who believe in reality and science normally opt for a). Which do you choose?

If b), tell me about Elvis, Roswell and JFK stories next.

Yes . There is really nothing to doubt it .Space travel is not anything imposible . we are already on a space travel only on this planet earth. the atmospher prevailing on this planet naturally provides us the shield required to prtect us from the dangerous electro magnetic waves , radiation etc. It is only to be out of the atmospher that we are used to , that we need some equipment . It is only within the atmospher of the earththat we need some fuel / motive foprce to keep us moveing . but in the space we donot need any continuous froce in motion. We all have ssen with our own eyes the wonderful sight of Neil Armstrong walking on the moon and blasting all our foolish imaginations of the past . may be it is unplatable to the religious institutions which do not want mankind to know any truth about anything othr than the lies it has in its bundle to offer.
Science has been knocking out all our follies one by one .But with our hard disc already instaklled with lot of viruses is refusing to accepth anything new and keeping us tied down to the follies it has installed. We need some anti-virussoft ware to be installed . it is not in religion.but in science .and truth only.

I am really dismayed at the amount of people saying it was fake -- the ignorance in this country is incredible.

It was real, for more reasons than I could possibly begin to talk about here. The best refutation of the silly hoax idea is here: http://www.badastronomy.com/bad/tv/foxapollo.html

And to all those saying it was faked -- there's no way to sugarcoat this -- you are being imbeciles. Grow a brain.

Although there are lots of conspiracy theories, a complete analysis into the issue will reveal that it was not faked. For example, the moon rock that was brought back to earth has compounds and chemicals that are found only on the Moon.

Yup, and submarines are fake too, no one could go under water that long. The Internet? A bluff. Air travel? They put you in a room and spin the world for you....

Never underestimate man's ability to overcome technological challenges.
