I only did a Google because I was interested, why didn't you?

Aneurin or Aneirin (ənī'rĭn) , fl. c.600, Welsh bard whose reputed writings are contained in a 13th-century manuscript, The Book of Aneirin. Included in this manuscript is Y Gododdin, an elegiac poem of about 1000 lines recording the defeat of an army of northern Britons by the Saxons. The poem is one of the oldest extant works of Welsh literature and contains probably the earliest explicit allusion to King Arthur.

Aneurin is an alternate spelling of Aneirin, the name of a 7th Century Welsh bard. Aneirin or Neirin was a late 6th century Brythonic poet. He is believed to have been a bard or 'court poet' in one of the Cumbric kingdoms of the Old North or Hen Ogledd, probably that of Gododdin at Edinburgh, in modern Scotland. From the 17th century, his name was often incorrectly spelled Aneurin.

Aneurin is another name for thiamine.
