My fiance and I are engaged to be married in October. The closer the wedding gets, the more controlling he seems to be becoming. Also, he is a lot snappier. Instead of saying things in a nice, even tone, his tone is a lot more harsh than it used to be if he doesn't agree with something I've done or said. Could this be a sign of an abusive relationship in the making?

Naw, he's just worried and probably nervous about the wedding. I mean, some brides snap on their grooms, and the grooms snap right back. Weddings are a big thing, and when it's your wedding, well, people who are usually calm and happy turn into nervous wrecks.

Hope I helped some.

I hope not. You might wanna be careful though. Just casually bring up the subject, like when he's being like that say You know you've been a lot more controlling latley (or whatever) and it's been really bothering me.
I don't know just say something like that, maybe it'll help.

Well - or the sign that he is just very nervous - have you talked to him about the situation? He may not even be aware he is doing anything that is bothering you. However, if you talk to him about it and he defends his behavoirs that is a very big sign - run.
