Absolutely!!!! This man is a very sick individual. He claims that he was in love with her...How can an adult man be in love with a 6 year old child? That is sick! To think that someone could be so twisted and sadistic as to murder a child and so brutally at that. The poor Ramsey family. I feel for them. Practically the whole nation believed that one of them killed her out of anger and jealousy! How sad that one man couldn't have just confessed to what he had done years ago. Because ultimately, isn't that what he did anyway? Completely senseless. But that's not the kicker. In my mind, I can't quite even grasp the concept that he claims JonBenet was murdered accidentally and that "ALL" he was trying to do was kidnap her, (as if that would have been somehow better). How then, can he explain the gruesome injuries that she sustained? I believe that everything this man did was completely premeditated, which in my mind, constitutes the obvious punishment for the heinous crime he committed: Death penalty, but I think it needs to be torturous!
The worst part of the whole thing is this. He's going to claim that he can't get a fair trial in Colorado and practically everywhere else in the US. And eventually when he does go to trial, he's going to plead guilty, but by reason of insanity and just like Andrea Yates only get time in an institution for the rest of his life. Sadly yet another kick in the teeth to the children of our world that deserve justice...

I think the death penalty should be afforded all killers...
What makes the death penalty so distasteful to many is the inability to hand down even handed sentences and charges to those charged with the crime of murder. Different state, different set of laws regarding punishment.
With some states having the death penalty and other states having life sentences, I believe there should be national guidelines sat down by the Supreme Court for murder and the mandatory penalties involved.. When we politicize the issue of murder, arguments become distorted and the issue of murder becomes a part of other issues not related to crime.
Capital punishment should be discussed and voted on during the November elections as a separate issue and not tied into a candidate who is concerned about taxes, the economy, global warming, etc.

I have real life issues to deal with... I have no concern whatsoever for anything relating to the Ramseys... We must quit worrying about those the media think we should. There are more important items that should be discussed. Your local television channel averages 1 minute and 9 seconds of political coverage yet they'll spend 5 Minutes 30 seconds on a 10 year old story that has absolutely no relevance over 300,000,000 other people who live in the United States.......

I think anyone that murders someone should get the death penalty, but they should also have to go through the torture that they they put their victims through, not just a simple lethal injection.

I got news
It's a con job. He didn't do it. How can one be in 2 states at the same time.
He just wants to get out of that prison in Tailand. Research how bad they are.
Once in the states, he can say what he wants, deny, appeal.....and eventually get off by reason of insanity

I think he should. But first they need to match the DNA to him. If it truly was an accident I wonder why he didn't come out at the beginning. The public might have been a little softer on him and he might have gotten manslaughter.

He is innocent untill proven guilty, but if found guilty he should get life in prison. I don't believe in the death penalty.

I'm angry at him, and I think he should at least be behind bars for the rest of his life.
