You want a reasonably priced, yet classy, break to de-stress?

How about the Duva Aparthotel in Puerto Pollensa, Majorca? It is in the north of the island and is even on the outskirts (but within walking distance) of the small fishing village. What is best about this hotel is the use of the facilities- spa, jacuzzi, hydo-massage pool, steam room, sauna, indoor pool, tanning machines, work-out machines, etc.

Bliss. I have been there a few times and I really liked it. When I was there last (and it may have changed) the hotel would not allow under 12s to stay at the hotel.

The area is lovely, and not a club in sight. Some beautiful scenery and formentor beach is worth seeing. Yet, because the island is small, you are never too far away from the things you need, but far enough that the area attracts the right sort of people.

I can recommend Menorca but wouldn't go there any later than beginning of September because of the weather. My family have been there 3 times in the last 2 yrs and absolutely love it ! Everywhere is laid back and there's no hastle from anyone ! Whichever resort you choose is sure to be lovely but there are one or two things to consider. If you plan to drive whilst there, then it shouldn't make too much difference where you stay. If you don't plan to drive but still like to get around a bit then you're better off staying somewhere on the west coast (Calan Forcat, Ciutadella, calan blanes,sa caleta, calan bosch). Where ever you stay here there is an excellent bus service running regularly. Elsewhere on the island you may be a bit out of the way if you don't want to stay in resort. Also Calan Forcat and calan Bosch offer the best value for eating out as there is more competition than some of the other resorts.

Formentara (Balearics) The main attraction of this flat island are the pretty villages and marvellous beaches flanked by palms and pines.
Menorca (Balearics) has many peaceful resorts and beaches which line the south coast.

how about trying a yoga retreat in the south of spain - absolutely amazing!!! and they are capable of handling complete beginneers and experienced - they arent too expensive and can be quite luxurious. You wont be doing yoga 24/7 just 1-2 sessions a day but it is just such a great way to unwind.

Ibiza is a beautiful island, with plenty of quieter resorts - don't be put off by all the 'party / nightlife' hype. In my opinion, it has better beaches than Menorca, and is cheaper to get to than Formentera.
