My little twin cousin. His twin sister is still alive and will be going to 5th grade. These two kids were more like brother and sister to me because my mom and my aunt are very, very close sisters. It's like losing a little brother. I miss him so much. He died at age 3, and had a huge impact on me because he could not walk, talk, or move. He couldn't give a smile. It's only rarely that he smiles. I used to babysit both of my cousins, and one memory that I remember clearly is when I went to check if he was awake in the morning. I went into the room and saw his eyes were open, and before picking him up, I put my hand on his head and neck and just let him sit up because he couldn't. When I did that, he stretched his hands and smiled at me. I miss him.

My father's death had the biggest impact on me. He died in October of 2005. He told me over the phone when he was in the hospital that he didn't want to die. And then the next day he did.

At my brother's wedding in June, I was the best man. During the speach I gave I mentioned how unfortunate it was that my dad couldn't be here tonight. And in front of all of those people, I started crying and couldn't stop.

my brother. since he was murdered, i have found out who our true friends really are. and have become a new mother, i am raising his daughter that he never met because he was killed 7 wks before she was born. i never planned to be a mom. the biological mom is really crazy and part of the reason he is dead, she has trashed my bro's grave for 3 years the cops wont do anything, the murderer hasnt went to trial cause he is awaiting extradition from another state. and the momma is appealling everything with social services, my life has changed so much, thank god i have this child to help me get through all of this crap. i need a miracle.

I'd have to say I have two that impacted my life greatly my mom doed 12/25/1999 and my gram who helped raise me 10/23/2003. Although they are gone they continue to live on in my heart, and what they taught me I pass along to others everyday.

Probably my brother. I was 4, he was 7 at the time of his death. I often wonder how much different my life would have been with a brother around. Instead, I grew up as an only child.

I agree...my mom, who has been gone over 4 years. She was the strongest link in the family chain and since her passing our family fell apart. Of course it showed the true colors of the money hungry and materialistic dogs they are! I miss you mom and there isn't a day that goes by I don't think of you. You are free now...rest in peace!

When Chris and Nico died, it impacted my life because it could've been prevented. They died in a car accident and weren't buckled up. Chris's death hurt me the most because he was in my English class this year and seeing his empty seat every day tore my heart out. I still think about Chris and Nico, every day, and every time I hear a sad song on the radio, it really hurts. They were only sixteen.
