Good question. I'd like to say short term, then hopefully I could forget about all the bad things that have been done to me and some of the mistakes I have made in life but then again long term memory is better because then I'll never forget and hopefully learn from my past mistakes.

My short term memory is about as big as a gnat's because of medication I had to take last year and have since quit due to side effects...so I am like an Alzheimer's victim in training and my kids don't help either....

My long term memory is shot because I have tried to block out most of my past because it largely sucked for the most part and I would rather not remember alot of it...although there are parts I wish I could get back....

I guess they both suck....

i suppose it depends on what you have done in the past, lol.
if you have lied about things or done wrong, its probably better to have a short term memory. and if you have had a great life, i suppose it is better to have a long term memory.
