I have been taking Junel FE 1/20 (the generic version of Loestrin FE 1/20) and I have been having horrible side effects. I have fealt exhausted, moody, depressed, my hair is falling out more then usual, I am bloated and I got cramps in my calves. I have only been on Junel for 2 and 1/2 weeks and I can't even speak withmy Dr. I have been trying to talk toher for days now but all I get as some nurse calling me back and telling me I will be switched to Kariva (the generic version of Mircette and Desogen) and I am scared to switch again... almost paranoid. If anyone has ever taken Junel, Loestrin, Mircette, Desogen, or Kariva please tell me your reaction to it. I can use any imput you have.

You should try a low estrogen pill, that could be your problem. B/C pills never really made me moody (I don't think, but ask my mother and she might tell you different lol) but they did always make me sick until I was put on a low estrogen on called Elise 28 (sp) and it ended up agreeing with me just fine. Hope this helps.

i havent been on those nor heard of them, it sounds like the hormomes are to much for you and you need to be put on a birth control pillw itha lower dose of estrogen/ hormones. that may help you out alot. hope you feel better

u need to switch birth control. when i first started bc it made me mean!!! m talking moody bitchy and everything i needed a bc with a low dose of estrogen.
