Harison Ford is already older than Sean Connery was in Last Crusade. I love the Indiana Jones films, but am worried that another one may be pushing it. In 1989 George Lucas said they would only do another if he had an amazing idea, but in none of the talk about a fourth film have I heard that he's suddenly came up with a brilliant idea. The script seems to have been in development for a long time. It may be that Harrison Ford is looking to revive his career with a former successful franchise, as has been done/is being done with Die Hard, Terminator, Rocky and Rambo. I don't want to see anyone else play Indy, and think it may be best to let it rest.

Indiana Jones and finishing his story would be good harrison still looks good!!
like another poster said I'd love another Back to the Future but sadly the great Michael J Fox wouldn't be able to play Marty mc Fly and I don't think an other actor would be same.
How about the old cast of star wars for a get together Mark Hamil,Harrison ford etc just to see what they are doing now.

A trilogy is a group of three, of course. That doesn't mean that they cannot make another movie. They would be smart to make the roles of Indiana Jones switch a bit, though. Harrison Ford's character could be the elderly archeologist, and his son could be in the business as well. If George Lucas was interested, he could come up with something... all he needs to do is look in the archived news for different things that were discovered, and find out what political conflict was going on in that time period.

Alien movies used the word "Quadrilogy" to describe their grouping of four movies... that used to be a trilogy as well.

I love Indiana Jones - but I don't know if number 4 is a good idea at Harrison Ford's advanced age.

Dunno - I'll reserve judgement till I see it.

It wasn't planned to be a trilogy, it just happened to stop there. Whether a 4th is a good idea or not depends on the quality of the story they can tell... but it needs to be soon, because Harrison Ford isn't getting any younger.

I really liked the other ones, so if Harrison Ford is fit enough it would be great. Recent pictures of him look like he' s really aging, which he has every right to do, maybe he's still fit I would go see another one

Nah, I don't think it's a good idea. Unless it's a movie about him passing the torch onto someone else and his apprentice does all the stunts. Harrison might break his hip that way...
