What I suggest is that you talk to a qualified surgeon first. Most cosmetic surgeries offer a free consultation with a nurse and they are there to make sure that this is what you truly want. I hope you have thought whether or not changing whatever it is will make you happy. I am having surgery next year to reduce a bump on my nose and what I did was take a picture of my face and then corrected my nose using paint (lol) and I really did feel that I would be happier with myself and a more confident person.
However, if you're worried about the religious side of things then it could be argued that God made you the way you are but some would argue that God did make us with the ability to produce this kind of surgery, so I wouldn't worry about that side of it too much. You're not doing anything wrong. There is no shame in making yourself happier.

I know that Muslim imams dissaprove cosmetic surgery although Quran does not explicitly state that cosmetic surgery is forbidden. I guess it would be similar in Christianity and other religions, as there was no cosmetic surgery when the Quran, Bible and other religious books were written. On the one hand, God gave us our looks when we were born, on the other hand, God gives the opportunity to makes us better through cosmetic surgery and live a happier life. My view is that if we are going for the cosmetic surgery we are not stopping to love God as the creator of humans, we are just taking the opportunity the God gave us to fulfil our lives.

Look into the mirror every morning and say quietly "God made me beautiful. I am a beautiful person with a beautiful mind inside a beautiful body. God grant that I meet people who see the beauty in me. Amen"
Then go ahead and have surgery but it wont change the inside. You have to love the child within and then decide.

You can ask for all the opinions in the world but the truth is its up to you, the reason you're asking obviously shows your morals are playing some sort of repelling role, go with what you feel is right

You only live once - do what you want. If you didn't get it done, would you regret it? Have no regrets - when this life is over, you will feel more fulfilled if you did what you wanted! God wants us to be happy - plastic surgery is hardly immoral.....good luck!

If you believe in God wouldn't you take the view that God gave us the ability to change our bodies and therefore it must be OK?

I doubt God is at all bothered (irrespective of your religion), but why bother with the surgery? Learn to love yourself and others will too (cheezy I know but true!)
