"Lamo" (pr. lay-mo) (Australian slang Off!) something or someone that is lame, as in a stupid/idiotic. E.g. "that's a a lamo idea mate"

or maybe you mean "Lammo"? (pr. lam-mo) (Australian slang) - short for lammington, a sponge cake thing covered with chocalate sugaring and grated coconut
