I said most, not all the people. Why? There is no good reason for that. Just because it is the biggest power of the world(economically talking)? This doesn't make we better than other people! We're all human beings. I'm an american, but I just don get it!

thats a good question, i guess people just see colors and not hearts i suppose. i feel we are all the same, we have the same on the insides and we bleed the same color. besides the world would be boring if we were all alike.

I don't buy it. I do not believe that most people are prejudiced. There are many who are, but I think they are a shrinking minority. As a white American man, I can tell you that I hear significantly fewer racial slurs coming from white people than say, even 10 years ago.
Now there is an industry that makes its money and derives power from trying to convince you that certain people are victims of racism. Jesse Jackson and other slimeballs make millions by beating that drum. It hurts the "real" victims of racism, nobody believes the victims because these clowns make an absurd freak show of it.

Because people of ethnicity represent diversity. We Americans are quite a bit like our "patron saint", George Bush, in the manner in which we believe that there is only one way to think and be. That is the American way, and if you don't like it then get the f*&* ready cuz were gonna bomb ya. Diversity is a concept that articulates cognative skills as well as fine tuning your spiritualism. It takes being open minded and courage to have clarification. It must have acceptance and encouragement. Now, when in the history of the U.S. has this ever been the case. The funniest thing about this is, nobody is the least bit embarrassed for being the complete moron that they are, in fact, they are all in denial and they'll just shoot your *** if you don't shut up.

What makes you think prejudice is limited to America? Sadly, we are one of the least (outwardly) prejudice countries in the world. Also, we have a very high level of diversity that other countries (like China or Zimbabwe) don't have, forcing this issue on us every day. We're just as prejudiced as everyone else, we just have to deal with it more often.

You sound young and have not experienced life at all , like unemployment(the discrimination rule is OVER used and WHO is the minority?), or family hardship(try and get help and find out they want you to sell everything you worked so hard for, instead of temporary funding to get you back on your feet).
Yes, there are people who take advantage of the system and are looking for the free hand out while the rest of us have to WORK for it and pay TAXES at the end! That is the reason for a lot of the prejudice and sterotyping!

Every country in the world is prejudiced against some group. It's just human nature to fear the "otherness".

Hey...it is NOT just Americans!

Prejudice begins at home...it comes down from past generations, is reinforced along the way... and the only way out is education.

It has improved in my lifetime but it is ongoing and requires constant vigilence.

I have thought the same thing before...if anything, it's the Native Americans that at least have some reason to be prejudiced against all of us!
