Murphys is awesome for wood I refinish wood antiques and I use it.
Pledge will make you slide on the floor . It will make it very slick.
Murphys will help keep the wood from drying out.

Pledge Cleaner for wood floors is the best. Murphy Oil Soap will leave a dull residue and need to be mopped behind to remove, Pledge Orange for wood floors mops beautiful, shiny not slippery does not have oil in it. But if you use the Pledge Spray Cleaner for Furnish it will be slippery. This type of Pledge will be found near the Murphy Oil Soap. Leaves a clean smell also.
I have been using this for 11 years and would not trade for any other product for my wood floors.

I don't use Pledge. It is very slippery and a waste of furniture polish. I use Murphy's oil soap. Don't use anything that would give you a wax build up. Pledge can do that. Pledge does have a no build up wood floor cleaner, but it dulls my floor. And before you scrub, go over it with a swiffer or broom it really good so there are no particles. We have hardwood floors and we use murphy's oil soap on a regular basis,no harm done. I would be pretty piss*d if it did tho beings its made for cleanning wood. O.o Another option would be to use the wet jet wood cleanning solution, works pretty good and smells nice 2. :)

Murphy's is the best! And if you use it on your shower doors they will be crystal clear and look brand new! No more white mess and No scrubbing! Great for ceramic tiles too! Enjoy!

Pledge has a wood cleaner now and it is gentle.I really like it and it dries quick if you use a micro fiber mop.Even if wood is sealed you want to keep it as dry as possible when you mop it:)

Best bet would be to go to home depot or lowes and ask them. because the answer to you're question may be neither!
