On paper, it looks very practical. Everyone is equal, everyone shares, but when applied to humans and their nature, it goes wrong. Humans constantly want what they can't have. And who would want to work hard to become a doctor or a professor when they get paid the same amount to be a fry cook? So really, being greedy helps run society I believe.

In theory, yes. In actual practice? No political philosophy is all that practical. A political philosophy that is under continual observation and adaptation is the only one that will be truly practical. A defined pol. phil. Is bound to fail because of the nature of man. When you define a pol. phil. you give it limits. The best pol. phil. would be, as stated before, unbound by definition and limits; it will always be adapting to the changes necessary.

Personally, I don't think so. I think too many people are inherently greedy and will not allow others to be on the same level. There are parts of it that I think work well in theory, but I don't believe it is a viable practice.

It is practical if one of the following is true:
1. People become altruists
2. The resources are so abundant it makes no sense to fight over them(This is the one Marx mistakenly believed to be true)
