when you tell a guy on the phone "im gonna let you go" and he says "it was nice seeing you" What is he saying? I have not talked to him since.

I think I need more information to answer this question. Are you saying he didn't call you back? Did you call him back? That kind of statement doesn't suggest to me that he would never want to talk to you again. If he said "Take care, have a nice life" I would think that was a goodbye statement.

That maybe he moved on - and so should you... :-)
I get the feeling that you wanted to be the 1st out of the door and his reply threw you off the hunt.
That I think is like ok! You can get going and forget about it.
