This guy John, has supposedly admitted to the "accidental" killing, but has anyone heard anything about how Patsy Ramsey supposedly wrote the ransom letter? If she did write the letter, and this guy admitted to the crime, was he Patsy's secret lover or something...Are they connected?

I realize she's dead, I should have said, were they connected.

I heard that 3 different handwriting experts said they were 100% sure that Patsy DID write the note.

See, I have still have some suspicion on the parents - whether it be Patsy or John. For one, the ransom demand - $118,000 - happens to be the exact amount John received as a Christmas bonus from his company, Access Graphics (which he later sold to GE, and they renamed it GE Access Graphics). Also, the note was addressed to "Mr. Ramsey". What kidnapper uses formalities like that? There's so much that is still confusing in this case, that if he does go free, I wonder if they will ever find the true killer. Or did the true killer die June 26th of ovarian cancer?

And to bugsnme: It wasn't christmas eve, it was the night of Christmas Day: she was killed after returning home from a party with her parents, December 25, 2006.

I think she may have written the "ransom note"...after all, the dollar amount was the exact amount of John's bonus (118,000)--usually ransoms are "one million dollars" or "five hundred thousand"--not 118,000!! Who knows, she was a drama queen (I know, I know, "rest in peace"), perhaps if there was a 'note' police would call in the FBI rather than just treat it like a "child wandered off" (?).
But until DNA proves otherwise, I think this perv guy is just a weirdo with a fixation on children (a pervy fix) that wants to get back to the USA instead of facing whatever nastiness he'd gotten into in Taiwan!
Any way we look at it, a poor child was killed, a family was torn apart and has a dark cloud over them, all of them--at every minute of every day.

patsy was accused of writing the letter, and that accusation was disproved after hand writing experts compared Patsy's to the note and there was no comparison. She never wrote the letter. Just keep watching the news, the whole world is about to find out lots more. The reporters keep saying that the suspect is admitting to certain elements that were never disclosed,

Good question but I could never be a lover to a man who killed my child. He was very sick.It is strange hes in the picture now that patsy is dead. But than no matter how long it is you generally slip up somewhere and get caught. It rarely fails

this will be very interesting to say the least - his ex wife has given him an alibi, saying they were together in Alabama on the day of the murder. And seeing it was x-mas eve, she'd probably remember the exact date. Maybe this guy just wants some attention, bad enough to admit to a crime he didn't committ.
