neither. Have you ever been listening to a news broadcast, and you hear about some left-wing (or right wing) view of an actor, or actress? They casually speak about how they feel that the President is not doing his job diplomatically enough, or how we can all get along - somehow!! Well, the way I see it, they have a job to do - acting. They are respected for their skill (most of the time), and a lot of them are good at it. Since hearing certain political convictions by certain actors/actresses, I am not able to appreciate them as actors any more. They have ruined it by adding their take on politics to their skill of acting. I now see their opinion, which is not what I want to see from a good artist - they can leave their opinions at home!!!
So... you think that it would be appropriate to put the President on Oprah or Ellen, do you? Well, my idea of the disaster that may form is similar to an actors' take on politics - useless. Our President (whether you think he's good or bad - I go for good, I wouldn't want to be in his position as we speak, yet everyone seems to think that it is his fault that the world is in an uproar?) has a job to do - that is run the country to the best of his abilities. I personally don't want to know about his family life, his favorite foods, his hang-ups, until after he is done with his term(s) in the oval office! How is it going to make Americans any safer knowing what kind of relationship the President has with his wife? or kids? We don't need to know the sexual hangups of the President - do we Bill? We need to be confident that they are able to do their job well, without worrying that he is some kind of a sap!

If he goes to Ellen, he will make a fool of himself, or better, Ellen will I would love yo see him in Ellen, but I rather he'd go to Stephen Colbert's or Jon Stewart's shows. That would no only be funny but interesting, given that he will be asked all the things the people asks themselves every day of their lives.
About Oprah;s. I;m sure they will end up talking about a post partum depression or something like that.

Why would he ? Oprah is a self-serving slimefest of shoulder-patting and Ellen is a dance-dance comedy error.
I stand corrected, he would fit right in.
